A Message from the Educational Foundation President
At the core of my circle of friends are my long-time sorority sisters. Delta Phi Epsilon is still high on my list of things for which to be thankful. The bonds I made with my sisters have only grown stronger with each passing year. We share happiness during life's milestones like marriage or the birth of a child. We comfort each other during challenging times like the aging of a parent or when dealing with an employment transition. The support system I have from my sisters never would have been possible without the blessing of Delta Phi Epsilon. I know many sisters feel the same way.
Please help me continue this legacy of support for the benefit of our new sisters through the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. Our sorority currently has almost 4,000 collegiate sisters fostering their own sisterly bonds and setting out on their own chosen paths. The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation provides scholarships to a select group of these women. In the near future, we aim to add support of the sorority's leadership development opportunities which will better prepare our sisters for today's workforce. We must ensure that our sisters will continue to receive the assistance they need so their potential does not go unfulfilled. But, we can't do it, completely, without your support.
You may be wondering why supporting the Educational Foundation is so important. A little more than a year ago, the foundation board added several new directors with fresh ideas to help advance our goals and, ultimately, our sisterhood. Together we created a strategic plan to steer our efforts over the next few years. Chief among these goals is to engage you. Why? There are amazing things happening within the sorority and throughout our chapters across North America. We want to nurture the sorority's expansion and do more. Your support now more than ever will assist us with our ambitious plans to make sure that Delta Phi Epsilon remains viable, affordable and relevant for college women across the continent.
This is your opportunity to give back to our sisterhood. This is a chance for you to support hard working young women who are making a difference in their communities through philanthropy and service. They are looking to us, seeking inspiration for their future - and their success is our legacy.
Our lives were forever enriched when we made a pledge to DPhiE: to be Delta Phi Epsilon women for life. Join me in making a difference in our sorority today. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the future of our sisterhood.
On behalf of the Board of Director's of the Educational Foundation of Delta Phi Epsilon, I thank you.
