Scholarships are a great joy to make education accessible to bright, young women! The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation awards scholarships annually to qualified women pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. With your support, we will be able to increase the number and amount of the scholarship opportunities we offer in order to better support more of our sisters' educational aspirations.
Your gifts ensure women are empowered to change the world. We have opportunities for the creation of permanent or annual named scholarships. If you are interested in creating a new scholarship, please contact the Executive Director, Nicole DeFeo at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Scholarship Application is available annually in January 2013, deadline for application is NO LATER THAN March 17, 2013. (These PDF files require the free Adobe Reader):
Conferences & Conventions
Forward-thinking programming and innovative leadership training are hallmarks of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Our programming prepares sisters for the challenges of leadership, and encourages the development of strong skills for life. Current leadership development programming offered by the sorority includes Convention, District Leadership Conferences, online resources, and volunteer training.
The sorority also aspires to offer a Leadership Academy focused on helping young women fulfill their potential, but this will only be possible with your support.
Your gifts will enhance our programs, by attracting superior speakers and program presenters; allowing us to better use technology to create professional, interactive programs; and making attendance at our conferences more affordable for our collegiate chapters. To discover how you can get involved, please review our list of Sponsorship Opportunities.
UIFI and Other Student Development Programs
The foundation intends to regularly offer scholarships to collegiate sisters to attend the Undergraduate Inter Fraternity Institute (UIFI), LeaderShape and programs offered by the National Panhellenic Conference, North American Interfraternity Conference and other student development organizations. Harriette Hirsch Sisterhood Fund
The Harriette Hirsch Sisterhood Fund provides support and hope for our sisters in need. Recent gifts have ensured young sisters were able to stay in school during a time of family crisis and provided critical support after personal tragedy.
Sisters requesting emergency grants from the Harriette Hirsch Sisterhood Fund and other emergency funds should submit a letter to the Foundation President that details the circumstances that have led to requesting a grant and the amount needed, as well as one letter from a personal reference. Letters are accepted at anytime throughout the year and information will be held in strict confidence.
