93 years ago today, 5 amazing women from New York University School of Law joined together and founded our fine sorority to "promote good fellowship among the women students among the various colleges in the country...to create a secret society composed of these women based upon their good moral character, regardless of nationality or creed...to have distinct chapters at various colleges..." (from the notes of our Founders).

Today, DPhiE is 73 active chapters strong with over 4,600 active undergraduate sisters across the continent, including our founding chapter at NYU, Alpha. We continue to grow our sisterhood with two colonies this semester (SUNY Buffalo & Wesley College). Be proud to know there are over 50,000 initiated sisters worldwide who know about the purple and the gold.
