Delta Phi Epsilon is committed to keeping you informed and prepared as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. IHQ is actively monitoring the fast-moving developments and addressing chapter/member concerns on an individual basis. DPhiE will continue to update this page as significant changes affecting the membership become available.
Higher education institutions are taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We encourage chapters to follow their host institution’s guidelines and procedures. Additionally, it is important to adhere to any mandates by local authorities and government officials. We also encourage Alumnae Associations to adhere to all mandates regarding gatherings and events.
The following is a list of communications and resources sent to the membership:
IHQ is doing its part to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Starting March 16, IHQ staff began working remotely. The daily operations of the office remain functioning. It is our commitment to minimize disruptions for our members. Email and phone communication channels are available and we do not anticipate delays in response time. However, there may be delays in incoming and outgoing postal mail.
The Harriette Hirsch Sisterhood Fund is a special fund of the Educational Foundation that was established by Past International President Harriette Hirsch and her late husband, Dr. Paul Hirsch. The fund has set up a special response grant for undergraduate members in good standing whose campus housing was abruptly ended due to COVID-19. Grants will cover expenses associated with moving (see specifics on the application). You can apply for these funds through this application. Click here to apply.
It is important that all members stay informed with the latest information from host institutions as well as official health resources.
