We can all agree that stress has taken on a new meaning this year. Not only are we living in a global pandemic, but we are expected to go to school, work and still function normally. We all need to take some time to breathe – together. Elaine Miller is a DPhiE alumna and Health Educator at Emory University. She is ready to pause and give you some techniques to manage your stress in these difficult times.
Participants will:
- Be able to identify stressors in their lives both personally and from a community perspective.
- Learn what mindfulness is and how it can be used to reduce stress.
- Learn quick mindfulness techniques that they can practice independently.
