Alumnae initiation is an invitation we share with the women in our lives who have not had an opportunity to join DPhiE through traditional collegiate recruitment, but are committed to living our values and ideals. By sharing this gift of sisterhood with women who exemplify our motto, mission and founding principles, we are all able to grow our influence throughout society.

“The DPhiE house felt like my home even before I moved in. It gave me the chance to hang out with my sisters while doing homework too late at night, cooking dinner together, or relaxing on a weekend. Moving into the house was one of the best decisions I made.”
Maile Jim, Zeta Delta chapter, 2020-2021 VPHM
“It’s so fun living with all of my besties!”
Emma Tenner, Delta Eta chapter, PC’20
“Living in the house this year has allowed me to create closer bonds with sisters that I probably would not have. Especially during a pandemic it is nice to have a stable social circle around me.”
Peyton Cameron, Gamma chapter, PC ‘19
“Delta Phi Epsilon has felt like home from the moment the recruitment process began. I never understood how I would “find my people” by joining a sorority, but DPhiE has introduced me to the women I can confidently say will be my forever friends. Living in the chapter house, ice cream runs, late night talks, and spontaneous adventures will be the memories of college that will replay in my mind forever; not the countless hours in the library or the many, stressful exams. As the daughter of a DPhiE alumna, I now understand the love and excitement my mom gets from gathering together with her sisters, even at 50 years old! This chapter is truly something special and I am grateful to be constantly surrounded and supported by an amazing group of women.”
Morgan Rubin, Delta Kappa chapter, PC ‘18

Maddie Osterman, Gamma chapter, Chapter President 2021 & PC ‘20
“In the past two years, Delta Phi Epsilon has given me the sisters I never knew I needed and the people that are the hardest to say goodbye to; that’s how I know that I didn’t just pick another house on sorority row, but a home. I am grateful to Delta Phi Epsilon for a myriad of reasons, but most importantly for surrounding me with the most driven and uplifting individuals who accept me for me and always push me to have courage and be kind.”
Drew McNally, Delta Kappa chapter, Chapter President 2019-2020, PC ‘18
“Living in the house has given me so many opportunities to make friends during the pandemic and also gave me forever bonds with my sisters.”
Ali Hiller, Gamma chapter, PC ‘20
“Living in the house was one of the best experiences of my life and it completely affirmed my place in DPhiE! Before I had stuck to my circle within the sorority and was so nervous to be living with sisters I wasn’t super close with but immediately it felt like we were a tiny family. I loved binge watching TV shows in the living room and staying up late studying together. They were honestly the biggest and best support system during a crazy year.”
Maggie Knauss, Psi chapter, 2019-2020 VP Programming
“I was hesitant about living in a house full of girls. Growing up with a sister we used to get in fights all the time about who gets to use the shower first, clean the kitchen, etc. I was nervous living in house would be like living with 16 versions of my sister. I’m happy to say that l was pleasantly surprised how much I love living in. These girls are my best friends and while we do argue about who takes the first shower it is always in good fun. Living in was the best decision I made.”
Laurel Hossler, Gamma chapter, VPHM 2020-2021
“Living in feels like a party every day. You never know what’s around the corner!”
