“Growing up in NYC, I was never exposed to sorority life. To be totally honest, I never thought I would even go through the recruitment process but I decided to push myself to test out the waters. On the first day of recruitment I walked into the DPhiE suite and immediately felt a slightly overwhelming sense of love. Every girl in that room welcomed me with open arms. Going into college, the stigma and stereotypes that I had about sororities completely changed when I joined DPhiE. The community truly provides every girl with unconditional love, something I’ve always highly valued. I feel so lucky to have met such incredible people in these past few weeks and I can’t wait to keep building relationships with these girls.”
