Delta Phi Epsilon Announces New Assistant Executive Director-Collegiate Services

Philadelphia, PA – It is an honor to announce Jessica McPherrin will be joining the staff of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority as the Assistant Executive Director – Collegiate Services. In this newly created role, Jessi will be responsible for all collegiate programming at the International Headquarters including the International Leadership Consultant Program, chapter recruitment, collegiate programs and officer training and chapter-based leadership initiatives.

Jessi McPherrin brings significant industry experience and a passion for women's leadership to Delta Phi Epsilon. After graduating from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Jessi traveled as a Leadership Consultant for her fraternal organization, Alpha Gamma Delta International Fraternity. She went on to Florida State University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration and served as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, advising the Panhellenic and Multicultural Greek Councils.

Following her time at Florida State, she worked as the Interfraternity Council advisor at Lehigh University. She then became the Assistant Director of Student Involvement at Villanova University, overseeing the fraternity and sorority community. Most recently, Jessi served as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for LaunchPoint, a coaching and consulting company focused on recruitment and growth within fraternity and sorority communities and national organizations.

Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority Announces New International Leadership Consultant Program

Philadelphia, PA- Delta Phi Epsilon is pleased to announce it will be hiring up to 20 International Leadership Consultants(ILCs) for the 2018-19 academic year. The application process is set to begin November 1, 2017, and close December 31, 2017, at 12:01 EST.

“Serving Delta Phi Epsilon as an ILC will not only be a rewarding experience for the individual sister, its ripple effect of positive support, connection and engagement will create leaders for a lifetime,” says Nicole L. DeFeo, International Executive Director. “The women chosen will have an opportunity to grow as individuals, as well as, help inspire sisters across North America to do the same. We are thrilled to be at a point in our organizational growth to support this type of initiative.”

International Leadership Consultants will travel the country throughout the 2018-19 academic year visiting collegiate chapters and alumnae associations. They will work side-by-side with people from diverse backgrounds, personalities, and generations to support the success of our sisterhood. The position creates an opportunity for building interpersonal communication skills, facilitating trainings, enhancing public speaking skills and raising emotional intelligence. Six weeks paid training and attendance at the International Leadership Conference are included for the successful candidates.
