Delta Phi Epsilon Mourns the Loss of Collegiate Sister

Philadelphia, PA - It is with heavy hearts that Delta Phi Epsilon mourns the loss of one of our own. Marissa DiMaggio (Alpha Phi at Ramapo College) passed away last week following a long and brave battle with Ewing Sarcoma. Delta Phi Epsilon celebrates Marissa’s life and the passion she brought to the Alpha Phi chapter.

“Marissa was such a positive soul and fighter, always keeping her head up despite battling cancer for the third time. She was so passionate about our sorority since she joined in spring of 2014. Her presence will be truly missed, but her spirit will live on in all of us forever,” shared chapter sister Tori Canavan.

International Delta Phi Epsilon President Tricia Carlin, stated, “On behalf of the International Governing Board and our entire sisterhood, our thoughts and prayers are with Marissa’s chapter sisters, the Ramapo Greek community, and the DiMaggio family during this incredibly difficult time.”

Delta Phi Epsilon respects the privacy of our chapter and the DiMaggio family during this difficult time.
